There is a lot of interesting things to do as a local guide but what i am going to share is
the most interesting thing i’ve done as a local guide is adding picture to Google Maps.
Before joining the local guide, I seldom taking pictures. But since my first try to upload photos to google maps and my photos got responded by the viewers. It motivated me to do more when i saw the rating of the viewers getting higher and higher and a thank you note from people who viewed my photos.
Since then i am so excited to share my photos and write more reviews.
Local Guide Program is great. I feel like I am part of the it. From now on wherever i go and whatever i am doing, I always capture the beautiful moments such as the beautiful scenery and good food and straight away add it to google maps. I like to share my photos in google maps because it could help others for finding information. Through photos, people can feel it without being on the spot.
Like people say “one picture worth a thousand words”.
Beside that, the photos also help the business owners to increase their businesses because of the comments from other local guides. Adding photos also help me to improve my photography skills to expose many good photos to share as a local guide.
