Last year I decided to do something special as a Local Guide, so I made my goal to cover something special and big.
In Bangalore city, we do not have too many difficulties to find places like a big restaurant on Google Maps, but talking about small food stalls, it is very difficult to find one. Some of these food stalls serve very good quality food at a very cheap price compare to those restaurants.
In the Southern side of India, very famous breakfast and evening snacks like Dosa, Idli, Wada, Vajji, Buns etc are available in roadside stalls, which are very good in taste and also cheap.
So I start going out there, find the small roadside food stalls near my place, put them on Google Maps and also provided the menu chart, dishes with particular photos, shop open and close timing.
There are many famous street food stalls which have been running for many years and have a huge following, which I am planning to add those on maps one by one. So they can grow their business as well as a big help for local people who are searching on maps for a good place to eat morning breakfast and evening snacks.

few years ago, I started being a part of the Local Guides without any expectations.
when i need some information then I use google, I feel if i have some information then I must share it with others this is the motivation behind the local guide for me. I started exploring the other features available.
I am very used to with google maps and I use maps very frequently, I post reviews and photo upload of the places which I knew and I am getting more views and reach a new record, I am happy to see the mail from google that my post reach a new record.
I understand that the information post and reviews is useful to the place and people…
