I love to bring my contribution to google map because you can see directly how your contributions are useful for the users, so the most interesting thing i’ve done as a local guide is edit places. So each time i find the opportunity to edit a place it’s with a great pleasure that i do it because in this way i can help people to find the right location of a place. Here’s some places that i’ve edited:
College Mixte Philadelphie-Dantes Bellgarde: when i started as a google local guide i used to open google map and checked many places to see if it is on the map, and one day i decided to check out the schools where my brother and sister and i went to. This school was my big brother’s school when i checked it on the map i discovered that it wasn’t in the right location and i saw that there were no photos, like i knew its real location without hesitation i edited it and a few days later i visited this place to take a photo, it was the first photo of this school on google map. To date this photos has more than 18000 views and i was so excited to see that one of my contribution has an such impact.

DGI: I have already visited this public administration several times but it’s in august 2017, i wanted to go to renew my taxe identification number in this public administration while i was inside i wondered if this public administration is on google map and when i checked i saw that it wasn’t in the right location. So i took the opportunity to edit the location of this public administration and put it in its actual location on the map. Through this action i think that i was able to help a lot of people who didn’t know where was this public administration because they could get lost looking for it on google map.

Kopivit l’action social: It was a pleasure for me to edit this place because i have a friend who works in that office, he’s managing a indoor recording studio and i often come in this office to work with him in the recording studio. One day it was my friend’s birthday when i was in the office i had the idea to check if this this office was on google map and i noticed that it wasn’t at it’s right location then i decided to edit this place and it was approved. I was so happy when this place was approved because i think that i helped a lot of people who were looking to fing this place by editing it and keeping people from getting lost.

There are many ways to contribute on google map and editing places is one of them, and every time i edit a place i bring my share of contribution not only to google map but to te world also, because i help people to find the actual location of the places that they’re looking for without get lost and makes it easy for potential small business customers to find them. It’s so amazing to contribute in a platform where your contribution can be so impactful for people and their daily lives.
