Local guide is my way to help others and also myself. My aim as a local guide is to connect more and more people and make easy ways for others to explore the beauty of this world.
I am living in Multan (A city of Pakistan) and what i have discovered here is that there are very less people aware with local guide or google maps. Some of them just search places and they don’t explore all the features of this great service.
So, as a local guide what i have done is that i have explained this to a lot of people. I have added a lot of places that were not previously on google maps and actually this connected people.
Whenever i go out and buy something, I usually search that place on google maps and most of the time that place is not on the maps. I have added some contact numbers of shops that i have added on maps and after some days when i visited them again, I came to know that a lot of people actually called on those numbers from USA, UAE, KSA etc.
They told me that by adding their shops/places to google maps its very easy for most people to locate that place through maps. It actually helped them increasing their customers and connecting to more and more people locally and internationally.
The most interesting thing that is resulted as i added places is that, people from other countries ordered some goods and got shipped from my country. Just because they didn’t know before about the quality of products that people here are producing. And now its helping them
One more thing that i would like to share is that i love traveling and exploring new places with my friends and as a local guide i can easily tell them where to meet. So, its also helping in meet-ups. Like that place becomes visible to others too and they are also doing their meet-ups at those lovely palces.
That’s the thing that makes me feel so special. And these are the responses that encourage me to add more and more to google maps as a local guide and connect people around the globe.

Hello @hamzamughal you might have wondered what happened to the first post you wrote, as that all of a sudden disappeared, right? Well, actually, it was accidentally caught in our spam filter (which is quite strict out here).
