Just a few days ago I received a message from Google Maps team saying my photos had exceeded 4 million views. I still can’t believe it … something that started as a hobby, has gradually become part of my life. There, I verified how important is what I’m doing rigth now for my city because I’m helping businesses and people to discover or locate more efficiently places they need for some reason.
Here’s a look at some contributions I’ve added:
Almacén Motos Honda: this place is most significant contribution I’ve made so far with more than 1 million views! I live in Cali, a city in Colombia where motorcycles are one of the main transportation ways; This’s why businesses about motorcycles and spare parts are in great demand. That photo I added when I went to look for a spare for a friend.
Restaurante Ándale: One of the best meals I could find on my last trip to Medellín when I was visiting that beautiful city. It’s a place with a nice family atmosphere where you will be able to enjoy the good cooking. They specialize in Mexican food at prices very comfortable for everyone.
Medellín is known as the City of Eternal Spring or City of Flowers for its pleasant climate and for its fair where the main event is the parade with millions of flowers.
Que Viva La Feria: the Cali fair is an annual event that takes place in December and is well known since this city is the capital of salsa (Salsa is a musical genre resulting from the synthesis of Cuban Son and others Caribbean music genres) Millions of people gather here every year to enjoy the events, the typical food and to dance salsa to exhaustion.
