One of the most interesting things I’ve done as a Local Guide, happened on a trip to Mexico last year and was to circumvent security a bit and take my shirt off over the Teotihuacan pyramids.
Yes, as you read it, it was one of the most exciting, beautiful and at the same time daring things I have done as a Local guide.
It all started on a trip I made to Mexico last year, I was supposed to just want to get to know Mexico DF, I was going to go a week with my best friends who all stayed in the same place.
The first days we knew a lot about Mexico, especially at night, we used a lot of information from other Local guides to be able to go to night clubs at night and parks and attractions in the morning.
One day we googled attractions and found excellent local guide references on the Teotihuacan pyramids, reading all the recommendations we decided to take all the Tips that were written and go (by the way, those tips helped us to go to the best time with the Best City Tour).
When we arrived, the tour took us to eat at a restaurant that I did not like very much, so I helped others by giving all the references of that restaurant and why they should select another when they came to visit this beautiful place.
Once we finished eating we went to visit the pyramids and I thought about taking off my shirt to take a photo so that I could use that photo in Gmaps and that people would have more and better ideas to take photos in this wonderful place.
This was a challenge at first, but it was worth it, it is a nice memory and it has been one of the most viewed photos of the place.
