Hi I am Tuhin Subhra Singh Sardar. I joined this local guide program nearly 2 years ago. I enjoy this as my hobby and entertainment. I like to help people asking questions on Google maps.
I want to tell this little interesting story during this program. I got a new job at school. The place is New to me, so I googled it. But I was surprised I can find it on Google. I reach there somehow by asking people. It was in a far village. When I reach there I thought, first let’s add the place on Google map with some photos, and after that I go inside and join my new job. So I start clicking photos with my phone. Some locals watching me for sometime as I am a new person there. Now they circled me e and asked “why I am clicking photos? Did I have any wrong intentions?” I told them my whole story and obviously they didn’t believe me. So they take me to the headmaster for conclusion. Now I show my papers as a new employee at his school. Now they surprised why I am clicking photos? I describe them what Google map is and what is the problem not showing the school on Google map. It would help people to find it easily represent the school worldwide. After a brief description they understand it all. Now the headmaster laughed hearing it, encouraged me for the good work. And I joined there as a employee.
Now I am adding more places and pictures of the local important places. And people also encouraging me to do so.
