Hello Guys!
I still remember when I started sharing the information and historical details of my own village SAMSTHAN RAJAPETA. It was in 2008 I decided to start a web blog dedicated to share details of history and heritage of Forts across Telangana State of India. Form then, I started the journey as a local guide to collect the information from various sources and published in the blog. Apparently there was lot of discussion with local village folks and elderly people to gather the key details of heritage and culture about the Fort of Rajapeta Samsthan which is located very near to my house. This was so inspiring and challenging for me to collect and publish historical data in the form of Blog posts (https://rajapet.wordpress.com/). We can even see now my first post published on July 30, 2008 (https://rajapet.wordpress.com/2008/07/). That was the time when I decided to contribute to society by sharing as much as information to create awareness of the local spots and places. Thanks to Google Maps which helped my to boost up my knowledge to create new places, locations, religious festivities and reviews as a normal google user turned to Local Guide. People of my village and friends encouraged me to contribute more so that it will reach wider audience (internet users) across the globe along with our historical heritage and cultures can go popular. I am so glad now as the Blog reached 50,000+ visits and the photos and stories are so popular in the google search. This was made me so inspiring and I became a busy local guide attributed by Google Maps.
Kudos to Google Maps for making me an enthusiastic Local Guide.
Thanks for reading!
