It is very interesting to be a local guide. Reasons are many and the results are rewarding too. The primary reason to join google local guide program some years ago is that I feel empowered by the technology. With the small mobile in my hand I can show the whole world the path, path to a waterfall,a garden, a movie theatre or to a government office. Now People do not have to stop and ask some random stranger the way to their destination if they have a connected mobile. When people appreciate your effort by some encouraging words it feels awesome and even if they dont comment on my post some way I was able to help them that is enough. Although I have many posts and reviews, one particular post I like the most is the Government Hospital,Jharsuguda. As it was newly built then, most people had no idea where it was? When I went there for some reason I uploaded the photo and it helped many people and I feel satisfied.
