The most interesting thing I have done as a Local Guide: discovering and publishing cool places

Have you ever climbed on a giant bench (2 meters high!!) with friends to have a great view of Langhe (Unesco world heritage Italian territories in Piedmont)?

Yes in Piedmont you can do stuff like this, from 2010 thanks to Chris Bangle’s project to install some giant benches to give everybod the possibility to appreciate the mighty sightseeing of a beatiful region in a … different and relaxing way!

The project started with few benchs. Today the benches are 90 spread also in other Italian regions.

If someone would visit Langhe and Roero, the route of the giant benches it is for sure a interesting, new way to discover the land of extraordinary food/dishes such as Alba white truffle or Bra veal meat sausage and international wines as Barolo, Barbaresco, Nebbiolo, Dolcetto, Asti.

And if you live here around, it could be a nice place to spend time with friends admiring the sunset behind the Italian Alps!

Don’t you have ideas on which ones try? Check here my top 15 favourite Big Benches: https://goo.gl/maps/G3C82meWXLWf16Yq5

Hi @Luca_C ,

I’d like to let you know that I’ve moved your post to Local Stories, as it looks like an application post and it belongs there.

Ciao @Luca_C , no, la panchina gigante ancora non l’avevo vista. Bella, è in Google maps?

Bello avere un altro Italiano qui, la community sta diventando più numerosa.

Benvenuto
