The most interesting thing I did as a local guide was adding places, I really love doing it.
I realized that many places in the city where I live in Pindamonhangaba- SP are not on the Maps.
I like to add places in this way I am contributing to the general population and business owners in making their establishment more
visible.
The places that had my contributions are marked in the list “Pindamonhangaba is on the Maps”, many of them were added by me, but all
of them had my contribution somehow.
The place that had the most views that I added was Uninter, a college that is close to my work, I never imagined it would cause such an impact.
One day I was alking around the city I realized that a big store would be opening soon, the US TOP. As soon as I had the opportunity I went to the store and collected important information about it, such as: phone number, opening hours, correct address, to add to Maps. This is the procedure I do to add stores so that more and more people can have the right information.
Many owners are happy when I offer to add to maps, and explain how they can access comments and questions from their establishments was the case with a small children’s clothing store called Lavinia Kids. After I added her store to Maps, the owner sent me a lovely thank you message.
When the weather is hot, most people like to bathe in the river and waterfalls, but not everyone knows how to access these places, so I like to go there and add places to make them more accessible for everyone. One example is Cachoeira dos Bufálos, a beautiful and cool place to spend the day, and have direct contact with nature.
The place that is most visited in the city is Fazenda Nova Gokula, which I posted on Local Guides Connect like “The largest Hare Krishna Community in South America”.
. I like to go there and collect informations about it and add coments. Its a beautiful place where you can feel the peace and renew the energies.
To be a google guide for me is to be part of a community that contributes to offer the best information to those who are looking for it.
