The most interesting thing I did as a Local Guide: recommending small bussinesses

It all more-so started a few months ago, when I got into film photgraphy, and as part of my research I was in need of a place to develop my loved ones (aka: la films), which here in Israel, isn’t too common.
A good friend helped by recommending a small shop, it goes by word he said, and I was satisfied having my film developed.

It didn’t take long until I scrolled around my local guides suggestions- and met that shop again, the shop that helped me and with such great service! I knew they deserved a good word, for not only being very nice, but their location was so central I was surprised they’re not more known.
I described and added a photo I took by chance, and posted.
It wasn’t too long after and I recieved their reply, they really appriciated it a lot, and even added a cute emoji :slightly_smiling_face:

This is when I felt the sense of contribution, and the power this community has, to even bring those small bussinesses to attention and have some exposer, little by little.

The next visit to the shop I already felt like that place is in a way a new community,
because every place we spread the word about is genuine and this is what makes it reliable, and eventually, will make others come again and again.
Kind of like a “goes by word”, just adapted to nowadays. :slightly_smiling_face:

Having a chance to make an impact while being a part of a community that helps small bussinesses
This is what makes Local Guides interesting to me!
