The most interesting thing have done as a local guide is begging a total stranger to connect me on his hotspot so my location could be found.
- Sometimes ago i made this early morning bus trip on a distant journey (inter-state)and was not having enough data on my phone, so the data eventually exhausted and i needed to keep tab on my location as a local guide . I was restless and the gentleman sitting next to me noticed and asked if i was ok and i replied no. He asked what the problem was and i told him my map can’t keep tab of my locations because am out of data. There was this surprise look on him and he asked why is that a problem, i told him am a local guide that my map helps me in keeping tab of places and i get to contribute about those places on the local guide platform. Then i begged him if he could share his hotspot with me and he obliged.
That’s the most interesting thing have done as a local guide.
