Literally the most memorable holiday i have ever undertaken, starting from 8 p.m all the way to the following day, driving in shifts with my co-driver.
Departure was through the Lobatse border gate, passing through Mafhikeng all the way to Vryburg then Kimberly, Beaufort West.
The scenic Western Cape emerges after passing Beaufort West, my my, the landscapes are a sight to behold, the awe is nothing like any other you will experience, just splendorous beyond comprehension. Its a well deserved experience after spending hours and hours through the vast nothingness of Karoo which looks desolate and dead, The drive is something one must experience before they leave this earth, sell your kidney if you have to, just don’t die without taking this monumental drive. Do yourself a favour and tour the Karoo all the way to Cape Town.
