Today, I will introduce to you my favorite place. This is the place I am living in: Hai Phong city.
This is a coastal city which is far from 120 km of Hanoi capital to the East North East & very famous for its delicious food and a flower named Flamboyant.
At the end of May and early June every year is the time when the Flamboyant flowers bloom most in Hai Phong port city. From the city center to Do Son tourist area, the roads lit up with a red flower color.
The bright red flower color in the summer sun will make anyone feel like their soul is young again. Because its blooming season coincides with the end of the school year, the farewell season of many generations of students. Therefore, it is associated with unforgettable memories of the age of students.
Come to my city at this time to watch charming girls in long dress (Áo dài) play with friends under the foliage of Flamboyant and attend the annual Flamboyant flower festival. You must spend at least 2 days here to enjoy simple and rustic, non-sophisticated but unforgettable food. Some food cannot be enjoyed in other places but only in Hai Phong city.
As a Local guide, I am very proud to have the opportunity to share with you all information about this place and wish it would become famous to attract many tourists as Hanami festival in Japan.
