Last Friday, along with other friends we set out to have a one day trip/picnic at the world’s largest riverine Island called Majuli in the Brahmaputra river. We landed on a small uninhabited virgin island which has different landscape. There is lake, silver dust, damp and greenish area - all are within a small area within the river bank. On top of the river bank, the land was covered with green grass and pine tress. The most amazing thing about that area was the existence of silver dust which I have never seen before in the other parts of the world. The vegetation was another mesmerizing thing that exist in that area. As I found the place so good for nature lover, I tried to create the place in google map, but the given categories did not allow me to do so as there was no suitable category. Then, I tried to note down the coordinates which also I could not do. I find that it was a great loss for the google map. So, I am sharing here with you.
