One of my favorite trips was to Alaska in 2004. Unfortunately at that time we did not have smartphones, and the cameras were battery-powered. But still gave beautiful pictures. I loved seeing the glaciers breaking, the purity of the place. I loved seeing and hearing the whales.
It is a magical place, where you observe and at the same time is observed by the local animals. It is a trip to enjoy nature, and to see accessible places with the impression of being untouched. There is no picture that looks ugly in this scenario. To smell the fresh air, to hear the silence, may be strange, but it is indescribable. But for those who are not accustomed to deprivation, type of running water, light and comfort, plus the extreme cold it does there can be a challenge.
