As you all know that I love Canada and I love hiking. I wanted to highlight my favorite places in BC is Panorama Ridge which is near Garibaldi Lake park around Whistler. It would take you an hour and 45 minutes to drive to this park. My friend and I hiked for 3 hours after work to meet up with our other friends at Helm Lake. We camped overnight and started our accent which took us around 9 hours up and down. We completed this hike in the summer so the weather was very nice. This was a difficult hike especially with all the snow but boy was it worth it?! The views here were stunning.
My other favorite hike in BC is located in Pemberton which is about a 2.5 hour drive from Vancouver called Joffre Lake. We went around September which was perfect weather to see the leaves start to change color but still warm enough to do a hike in a tank top. This hike offers a picturesque view of snow capped mountains with a glacier water lake all in the same shot. This hike has become a lot more popular in the past few years because of Instagram and social media but definitely still worth a visit.
