The meaning of Local Guides program? I'm lucky to see, and share, things unique in the world

First of all I like a lot to travel and discover new places and new things. I’m a curious person and that’s why I always like to go beyond appearances. During my life I had the possibility to go in a lot of places and one of my favorites is South America. People, places, cities, everything there have a funny taste. I chose this photo because I don’t think many people had the opportunity to see Fenix up close…do you know what is it? Do you remember the incredible story of the Chilean miners, buried in their mine for 69 days in 2010? From this fact born a film based on the true story of the rescue of 33 miners - trapped half a mile below the surface in Copiapo. The film was written with the help of the miners and I was lucky enough to meet them, to shake their hand and see the Felix (in the picture). The Fenix capsules were designed by the Chilean Navy together with the United States space agency NASA. There are 3 capsules: have a diameter of 54 centimetres, and have eight wheels located on the top and the bottom, with a damping system for mobility in the pipeline. It’s not easy publish this story because I saw the capsule during a private event specially organized for a group of people, but if you want to see it I know that there is one - The Fénix 2 - at the Atacama Regional Museum in Copiapo. Now, do you understand whatdoes the Local Guides program mean to you ? Have the possibility, and give to the others

the possibility to discover incredible things.
