The Marina : Brings Bay of Bengal on Your Plate

The Marina is a chic, upscale seafood restaurant with a modern twist. With its more relaxed vibe and quiet location in College Road, The Marina makes for a nice hideout to chill and have excellent seafood. The Marina prides itself on using freshly catch ingredients for all their dishes and aims to serve authentic fresh flavourful Seafood to their patrons. As the seating capacity is limited, you might want to go early on weekends, or on weekday nights when it’s less crowded.

Seer Fish Tawa Fry

For starters, enjoy the uber juicy Seer Fish Tawa Fry that’s done perfectly while sporting a crisp skin, and balanced with various spice marination — the perfect partner for a cocktail or two.

Grilled Pomfret

You may not want to share the Grilled Pomfret, a flaky, perfectly grilled whole pomfret with ridiculously crisp skin, and an unassuming spicy marination coating that brims with flavour. The Grilled Pomfret paints the perfect pairing with you drink, and might just be the best thing you’ll have that night.

Hariyali Fish Tikka

Go for the Hariyali Fish Tikka - succulent pieces of fish char-grilled in mild, flavourful marination with hints of lime and herbs. The Hariyali Fish Tikka is a crowd pleaser as well, essentially a fish kebab - juicy, soft and packed with flavour.

Lobster Thermidor

Impress your date with their Lobster Thermidor that sees generous portions of lobster meat in a creamy white wine sauce that brings out the lobster’s sweetness and hint of mustard that balances the overpowering sweetness. Sinfully good smooth juicy bites of lobster with luscious, cheesy, slightly over-charred Parmesan cheese topping.

Pepper Grilled Sole Fish

Juicy, crisp and melt-in-the-mouth Pepper Grilled whole Sole fish is marinated very lightly yet so flavourful you can do away with salts and dips. Their house-secret marinades are what really elevate the flavours of the Sole fish, and the dipping sauces that come with are really tasty too. The incredibly tender pepper grilled sole fish with a top layer of melt-in-your-mouth crisp will leave you helpless!

Singapore Chili Crab

The bang-for-your-buck Singapore Chili Crab features a whole portion of perfectly cooked crab soaked in addictively, spicy sauce. The chilli crab hits the mark with super fresh crabs and a sauce that is well-balanced, albeit on the slightly spicy side. Their succulent Singapore Chili Crab bathed in a flavourful semi-thick slightly sweet and more spicy sauce.

Lasooni Grilled Jumbo Prawns

Order their Lasooni Grilled Jumbo Prawns for well-grilled and deliciously sweet prawns that are seasoned with house-made spice. Lasooni Grilled Jumbo Prawns feature fresh, crisp and juicy golden-brown prawns tossed in a sweet, spicy, garlicky sauce — heavenly when dipped into the garlic chili oil.

Tom Yum Steamed Hamour Fish

Do yourself a favour and get the Tom Yum Steamed Hamour Fish. The fish is fresh and steamed to perfection, and the gravy - Sour, spicy and salty, this is one feisty fish. The Tom Yum Steamed Hamour Fish here is tangy yet subtly sweet, and will kick your butt with its spiciness. If you need a drink to quell the spiciness, their mocktails will do the trick.

It all looks extremely delicious @RajdeepB , I wouldn’t even know where to start.

I had no idea Indian cuisine had so many seafood dishes to be honest. Maybe they mostly serve it by the seaside.

I will make sure to visit this place if I ever find myself in Chennai!
