The 'Mango Lassi'

Lassi is a very popular indian beverage which is famous worldwide. It is made from curd, cream and sugar.

Mango Lassi is a variation of traditional lassi.

It is prepared by first mixing sugar and mango pulp in a mixer then curd and small amount of cream is added with optional rose flavour, ice cubes then again the mixture is processed in mixer for around 10 seconds then it is served chilled.

Last time i bought it from a famous sweet shop in our aligarh city

And do u know, we routinely prepare mango curd also in summers. Almost similar method, a little sugar is added to mango pulp & then this is mixed into regular curd/yoghurt!

I love mango lassi. Last year I tried it for the first time and it was an absolutely delight.

I can’t have more than one in a row, because it’s unbelievably sweet, but at the same time it’s very refreshing. Definitely a drink that I recommend to everyone who haven’t tasted it and has a sweet tooth. :slight_smile:

The method of prepairing lassi is traditional and its almost similar everywhere.

@KlaudiyaG Thank you and yeah its a little bit extra sweet and one serving is more than enough unless someone likes too much sweet things.
