You never cease to amaze us @LucioV !
It is indeed a majestic view, perhaps @Sorbe can also share a bit of his thought?
That day I’ve made more than 50 panos, using DSLR, Drone and, of course, smartphone.
And I was amazed about the quality of some of smartphone panos!
I had two with me, an iPhone 7 and a Google Pixel 2 XL.
I’m so sad to admit that the pano produced with the Pixel 2 are too bad; stitching errors and bad compass!
Following my self tips for smartphone 360 photography got me this amazing results!
Thank you for tagging me in this post full of astonishing picture @sonnyNg .
Italy is famous worldwide for his sunny places and the seaside, but mountains are a vital part of our landscape.
This three peaks could be the ideal scenario for a next “Mission Impossible” movie. What do you think @LucioV ?
I think we share the same philosophy of camera equipment, @LucioV .
Always handy and to be ready to seek for better option at different situations, as long as the final product would be even almost perfection to our taste.
I think I should visit Italy one day, @Sorbe .
Hi @Sorbe the whole area appeared in several movies!
One of the most famous is “Cliffhanger”, where the area is the real star of the movie: when they filmed I was in my hospital bed in Cortina, after an accident, and I received an amazing visit… from the double of Sylvester Stallone
Recently I’ve found a great view of the Three Peaks in “Maniac”, a Netflix series.
Hey @LucioV
I am a movie freak and I was not sure about “Cliffhanger” location, but you confirm my suspects.
You are always full of funny stories when it comes to mountains. The one regarding Stallone really made me smile!
Eheheh yes, I was amazed by this visit! Another star was in Cortina that time, Carole Bouquet, but she didn’t made me a visit!
Just some other movies that featured these mountains in the time; Tom Cruise was here, in 1985, to film “Legend”… lot of time before becoming Ethan Hunt!
Also the great docu-film from Jean Jacques-Annaud “L’orso” feature the Three peaks!
