This program is such an integral part of my life because since I discovered it, I have never looked back.
The role of a local guide on Google maps is so fulfilling since my efforts help others and on many instances, I receive reactions from people whose lives I have impacted. For instance, in one of the very first places I shared photos and information about, the owner and manager of the establishment, Siala Resort, emailed me with a word of thanks for doing that and giving the place a five star rating. This post, up to date, is the most viewed in my profile and it set me in motion to being a guide.
Secondly, the feeling of being part of and contributing to this emblem of global interconnectedness is such an amazing feeling.
