Hello, I am Ying Fang. In this post, I want to tell you about what does the Local Guides program means to me.
For me, the Local Guide program is a thing that I can kill time and make the place on Google Maps have higher quality than before. If some vocabulary words to describe “the Local Guide program”, maybe I will choose “fun”, “help”, and “remember”.
Fun
If I give the comment on Google Maps, I will be give some point, and getting higher and higher level. Just like an online game, it make me have a sense of achievement, and I think it is interesting. Finally, I will have the chance to join some activity, like this time.
Help
The stores’ owner or government (as if the department manage the national park) can refer my comments to improve their places’ quality, and attract more clients to visit their places. Furthermore, people who want to visit some places I have gave the comments before, they can see my comments on Google Maps, to think about if they go to this place is worth it or not.
Remember
Sometimes, I forget where I have been to during the trip. Then, I can check my Local Guide program to find which place I have given the comment before. Moreover, I will remember the happy time during the trip.
I am not a local celebrity, I am just a normal university student, but I think my comment can help people who comes to the region I live. Besides, I really want to participate in “Connect Live 2020”, because I want to meet different people from different races. Moreover, after this activity, I will understand more information about “the Local Guide program” and different cultures in the world. Finally, maybe some great idea will come up my mind to help people have better life.
