Local Guides Program plays an important role in my life. In the past few years The local guides community has become like a family, on whom I can depend on for their honest work/opinions in the form of reviews, , lists of the best places in the town etc…etc. I can now make better choices while planning a vacation or selecting a good restaurant or finding a nice and safe play area for my daughter. It feels like consulting and confirming with a family member before making plans.
Baking is my passion. When I started, in the initial days, I had no idea where to look to buy the tins, moulds, baking supplies, tools, accessories etc. Friends and neighbors too were not aware of the same. As we know that Google is the one stop solution for all our queries. I searched the Google map and was able to find all the local business related to baking. I got more than what I had asked for. That was 8 years ago and since then there is no turning back. Not only to me or people like me but the local businesses are also benefited by the local guides program.
The selfless work, the efforts that the local guides around the globe put in , inspires me to do more. This has motivated me to share my experiences, my knowledge with others. It gives me a feeling of satisfaction of giving back to the community and the society. Thereby playing a small part in making this world a better place by one contribution at a time.
