The Less Discovered Fairies Land

Being an adventurist has led a urge in me of exploring new and beautiful places, that finally took me an year back to explore the unleashed beauty of Pakistan on a four wheel drive.

As I was planning this trip a lot around me discouraged me of not to take a risk of having such a journey, but my passion drove me towards it, as I started my journey with all bags pack up and fueled, I left Karachi my home town at mid night, the plan was actually to cover most of the province of Sindh, at the night time due to the hot weather we had then, with few stops in between and due to good road network I was able to cross Sindh in about 8 to 9 hours and finally drove into the province of Punjab which welcomed me with a more pleasant weather with light rain, during my stay I had a great time while we feasted in a green open vast farm with nature and beauty all around.

Experienced taking a bath in a tube well (A Heavy Pumping station of water supply use to irrigate the farm) the experience was phenomenal having a bath in a cold water never experienced before.

From there on I headed toward the capital city (Islamabad) which is must place to visit if you ever get a chance to visit Pakistan, the city entertains you with all managed road network plus few exciting places to visit such as Faisal Mosque, Monal, Margalla Hills (for hiking and camping), my visit to islamabad refreshed me all over with the greenery and heavy rainfall, leaving me much excited as to continue my journey further on from there as to explore the less discovered fairies land.

from there I headed towards the mountainous areas where I was highly anticipating snowfall driving from Abbottabad, Mansehra, Balakot, Shogran, and stopped at Kaghan valley, the next stop was Naran from there on we drove on a 4WD Jeep to the Lake of Fairies (Jheel Saiful Malook), which was all covered with snow at that time and it seems like to be a piece of heaven on earth, the lake entails a lot of stories that the locals narrates to the visitors while they charge you a few bugs, and the stories ranges from the fairies landing at the night time on the lake.

It’s a must place to visit it’s been more than a year now, as I last visited but recalling the memories really make me to think that for once I drove into the land of fairies.
