The last blues living legend!

In january this year I flew from Romania to Chicago to see and listen Buddy Guy in his club. After 20 hours, I arrived in Chicago.

I knew that is very hard to stay in the front of the band so, in the next morning at 7 am I’ve arrived to the club and I stayed in the line, for a few hours, until the doors was opened. Outside was a little bit cold, probably 40F.

At 11 am I stepped in, I get a table right in the middle and stayed there for the next 10 hours. And the club was full of fans.

This place is a Mecca for every blues lover. The walls are full of famous guitars: Eric Clapton, BB King, Muddy Waters, Stevie Ray Vaughan…. And you can see there Jimi Hendrix’s boots from Woodstock. God damn….

Buddy’s burger is very good but and Buddy’s brew are great, but only after three or four you can really feel the flavor.

After more than 10 hours sitting in the middle of the club, the living legend Buddy Guy started to play like anyone can’t. For more than two hours I listened the best blues you can hear today. He is a living legend.

At the end of the night, Buddy stayed at the reception and given autograph for everybody, until the last fan.

He’s 84 years young and the legend continues.

In the next two days this scenario was the same. I saw Buddy Guy three times in a raw, in January 2020.

I love Chicago and I love blues. Someday, I will move in Chicago.

For me this is Local Guide. Anybody can share their unbelievable experiences for others, and this thing will help every one of us, discovering new things, learning from others, in the right way.

Thank you.
