As a regular at Robinsons Galleria (my daughter studies at adjacent Pedro Poveda while I do my “mobile work” at various coffee shops and at the Food Court of Galle) I’ve always been intrigued by Pedro 'n Coi. If you are not yet familiar with Pedro 'n Coi, it is a restaurant chain (yes it has a number of branches now) and one of its branches is located at Level 4 of Robinsons Galleria.
Actually, Pedro ‘N Coi has always been an enigma to me. It has all the right visuals. People stop and take selfies in front of it. But there are hardly any customers inside whenever we pass it by.
Together with my wife sometime in March 2018, I finally gave Pedro 'n Coi a try.
Guess what? The food is quite good, and the servings are generous. And you can have lots of Instagram-worthy photos before your lunch or dinner is over, too.
There seems to be a disconnect somewhere and I am guessing that it has to be the pricing. At first glance on the menu you will almost immediately judge Pedro ‘N Coi to be quite pricey.
But it is actually not that bad, price wise, if you take into consideration that most (if not all) items are for sharing. A group of 4 pax can actually just order 3 or even just 2 dishes.
And as mentioned earlier, the food tastes good. Great even.

Thanks a lot @Giuseppe75 . I’m pretty new to Local Guides Connect and I am not yet familiar with the platform. My family and I love trying all sorts of food and checking out new and/or interesting food places and we are happy to share our experiences to benefit others. Getting positive feedback from fellow Google Local Guides is a big encouragement to me and my family to continue sharing our experiences. Cheers.
