The Landmark of Chennai

The pictures are the day & night views of the Chennai Central Railway Station. Recently renamed as the Puratchi Thalaivar Dr. M G Ramachandran Central Railway Station. One of the unique features is that the station is super accessible to all age groups since there is no need to climb stairs to move from one platform to the rest. The platforms are widely spread at the same level. They also have buggies which can be availed for better accessibility to move around the station. With the metro station and the suburban station also in and around, traveling is made easy!

Excellent views of the day and night @CreativeCreature

I especially like the Clock Tower in the background - a silent witness to all the transformations and changes over the decades, standing tall in all weather and seasons.

Good shots, dear LG friend @CreativeCreature ,

But, out of curiosity… How did you manage to capture the morning & night shofts?

Yes, dear friend @TusharSuradkar Ji, I have seen this famous clocktower in Yercaud Flower Show - it was amazing.

Regards to you both

Thanks for the compliment @TravellerG !

The shots were actually non-planned and coincidental. I captured the first one as I reached Chennai in the morning train and the night one when I was back at the station the next day to catch my train back to Kerala :slightly_smiling_face:
