This post is part of #StateChallenge run by @Denise_Barlock and @jayasimha78

Host for Rajasthan #WorldChallenge is @AnshukMitra , Who is from Mount Abu and a Researcher in Udaipur. I am pretty sure he has lot of local insight on Rajasthan, which we are looking forward to hear from him.

Rajasthan is on my bucket list of places to visit. I have heard lot of great things about Rajasthan, which is a great place to visit as a tourist.

‘Palace on Wheels’, most of the folks are heard of in the west. This is one of the luxurious ways to visit Rajasthan in a train. Cost of the ticket is upwards of $6000 per person for a 7-8 days trip. I am pretty sure you will be treated like a king/queen for that kind of money.

Regarding Food, Rajasthani Thalis are very popular. Even in San Francisco bay area there are restaurants serving Rajasthani Thalis, Like Thali, Rajwadi Thali etc.

When I visited I experienced Rajasthani and Gujrati Thali in Rajdhani Restaurant. So I am definitely looking forward to experiencing Rajasthani food when I vist Rajasthan.
