I wanted to write a quick post on why I enjoy being a local guide.
There are a couple of vain reasons, like the little notifications you get telling you how many people have seen your reviews or pictures, but there’s also a more important, more fulfilling reason too.
We, as consumers all love to go to nice places, eat good food, and do fun activities. But how do we know what’s worth our time and money?
That’s where being a local guide comes in. We can share not just the bad things we experience, but also highlight the good, so that those who follow after us can benefit from our past experiences too.
We also get to reward businesses and places that go above and beyond to make each and every one of our visits just that little bit better.
