Actually I have a habit to contributing to google map whenever I get a free time. I usually contribute whatever I see in the road side and suddenly will check if it’s listed in the Google map or not.

In my home side there is a small country chicken hotel is there. In that hotel has been running for almost 70+ years but the reach of the hotel name is very less. Many of the people in my area don’t know about the hotel and the history.

One day I have visited that hotel and ate the food. Really the taste of the food is super good and the price of the food is also very less while comparing with other hotels in my area. I have checked whether the hotel is added in the Google map or not. Unfortunately the hotel is not listed in the Google map.

The owner of the hotel is not a tech savvy. So I spoke to the owner and explained about the google map and its features. In the beginning he doesn’t care about what I spoke and said “brother if you are interested then you can list my business in Google map” then I have added his hotel in the google map and posted some pictures of the food too.

Day by day he is getting more outside area people getting in to the hotel and he asked how you know about this hotel. The people from other area said about the google map and they attracted towards the foods pictures which I have posted in the map. Now the owner of the hotel is super happy and he became my close friend and he is offering some free dishes whenever I visit their hotel.

Due to tech fault the comment is removed

Hello @MyNameIzVijay you might have wondered what happened to the first post you wrote, as that all of a sudden disappeared, right? Well, actually, it was accidentally caught in our spam filter (which is quite strict out here). I have now released it and merged it with your other post, to avoid that your Connect account would get flagged as spammer.

The result is that the content of your first post is now added as a comment to your second post. If you want, you can remove the content of that comment by clicking the ‘…’ at the bottom of the comment and then simply removing the content there (or replace it with something like “content removed as it was an accidental duplicate”).
