Here is my story. It’s public holiday in Madrid where i am doing my internship for 3 months. I have just been here since last 2 weeks so I am totally a newbie in this country. I have 5 days off from Wednesday till Sunday as an intern while my colleges have to work on Friday. My flatmate is so happy for me. She said I have to take this change to travel far away from Madrid because the city and towns nearby I can totally make it on normal weekends. She is right! So I decided to go somewhere by myself. I opened my laptop to see the map, attraction places, compare prices, try to book hostel and bus ticket, check the weather … But it took me more time than I thought. I spent 1.5 days to fight with my thought before finally grab my things and go. Thing is since I come to Madrid, I always have to travel alone, finding way to see places without any talk. I am not blaming how bad travel alone is but it is just my feeling at the moment. I wish I can find someone to talk or make friend with me. And a question comes into my mind that is there any application to help connect solo travelers with each other? If you know it, please kindly let me know. And now i am here on BlaBlaCar of a Spanish guy to go to Valencia. I am still keep silent because he cannot speak in English and either with my Spanish, keep hoping that I can find a company on the way. And right, it is not important where are you going, thing is who are you going with (in my case is ‘do you have company to go with’)
