The reason I love to share my opinion on Google Maps, is that I share to the people about the places. I always check, if a restaurant is good.
I think, everyone, wants to know about the experience of the others in a place. If the place was how they expected. If the employees were rude. If the place is expensive. Also, another important thing to know, the payment method; cause sometimes, we just carry with our credit cards and no cash.
Also, I love to put a place on the map. There are business, that aren’t on Maps. And I add them, 'cause I know that other people could search them easily, and are so useful to know about them. Like the open hours, if they have a phone number, the address or a website.
I think, Maps makes our search easier.

As an international student studying abroad in Canada, my experience away from home has widened my horizon about different cultures, food, music among others. So, if there is anything I love sharing most on google maps, it wouldn’t be any farther from what I highlighted earlier, which are Food pictures, Places I explore around the island and sometimes pictures of nature.
Generally speaking, I think sharing posts on google map helps a lot of people in deciding where next to visit and explore, restaurants to visit and historical places to check-out. Personally, before making up my mind on a place I wanna visit, I look up people’s comments and pictures shared on google map if it’s worth exploring.
Another reason why sharing on google maps is really helpful is that it helps connect those who provide services with those who are in need of the service. For instance, someone looking for a mechanic could go on google map to search “Mechanics near me”. Google provides a lot of suggestions but what could distinguish a particular mechanic could be an impressive review someone shared about the service provider. Obviously, the review shared on the map would be significant in deciding whether or not to use a particular service provider - in this case, a mechanic.
In addition, I also, sometimes, answer questions on posts I/someone else shared on google.
