অবস্থানঃ তেজগাঁ শহীদ তাজউদ্দীন সরনি রোডে পোলার আইসক্রিম ফ্যাক্টরির বিপরীত পাশে হক বিস্কুট বা রানার মোটর অফিসের সাথের গল্লি দিয়ে পশ্চিম দিকে ২০-৩০ সেকেন্ড হাঁটলেই পেয়ে যাবেন সেই প্রত্যাশিত হোটেল আল-সালাদিয়া।
পরিবেশঃ হোটেলটি ফুটপাতের উপর তাই এর পরিবেশ খুব যে ভালো তা না। সব কিছু রান্না, হাত ধোঁয়া, বসার টেবিল ও চেয়ার খোলা পরিবেশ বলা যায়। ভিতরে আছে ডানদিকে ৩টা, বামদিকে ২টা টেবিল আর প্রতিটি চারটা করে চেয়ার। যেখানে এক সাথে চারজন খাওয়াটা অনেক কষ্টের হবে।
কর্মীর সংখাঃ হোটেলটির মালিক আর রাঁধুনি ছাড়া আরোও তিন কর্মী আছে। যারা খাবার সরবরাহ করার জন্যে যথেষ্ট আন্তরিক। মালিক নিতান্তও ছোটখোট মানুষ হলেও ব্যবহার খুবই ভালো।
খাবারের মান ও দামঃ এখানে পাবেন আপনি দুপুরের খাবারের জন্যে ভাত ১০টাকা প্লেট আর সাথে একটা ভর্তা ও ডাল ফ্রি। মুরগী ৯০টাকা, বিভিন্ন মাছ ৮০টা আর গরুর মাংশ ১৩০টাকা। মুরগী পিয়াজ দিয়ে ভুনা করা হয় তাই একটু মিষ্টি স্বাদ। গরুর মাংশ বা কালো ভুনার স্বাদ অনেক ভালো। মাছটাও অনেক ভালো হয়। আর ফ্রি আইটেমগুলোর কথা নাই বললাম।
সেবা গ্রহীতাঃ যেহুতে এটা কমার্শিয়াল/ইন্ডাস্ট্রিয়াল এলাকা তাই এখানে সব ধরনের গ্রাহকই উনার হোটেল আল-সালাদিয়ার সেবা গ্রহীতা। আশেপাশের অফিসগুলোর সব ধরণের বস বা বড় বড় স্যার নিজেরা এসে বা অফিসের লোক দিয়ে খাবার নিয়ে খেয়ে থাকেন। আর সব ধরণের চালক শ্রেণীর লোক উনার প্রধান ক্রেতা কারণ খাবারের দাম ওদের সাধ্যের মধ্যে।
সারসংক্ষেপঃ যারা ফুড ব্লগ করেন বা লোকাল গাইডের সদস্যরা যদি কখনো সময় পান দুপুরে এসে একবেলা খেয়ে দেখতে পারেন “দি হোটেল আল-সালাদিয়া।“

এই রেস্টুরেন্টটি যেহেতু ফুটপাতের ওপর তাই এটি একটি অবৈধ restaurant। খাবারের মান এবং পরিবেশও ভালো না। তাই লোকাল গাইডদের এখানে না খাওয়াই উচিত, স্বাস্থ্য ঝুঁকি আছে প্রচুর। এরকম কোন কিছু এখানে তুলে ধরা বা প্রমট করা আমি ব্যক্তিগতভাবে পছন্দ করি না, অনেকের কাছে আবার ভালোও লাগতে পারে। ধন্যবাদ @MonirHB ।
