Great place to stay, Hotel Schloss Leopoldskron. The property is where scenes for the Sound of Music movie were filmed and is open for lodging. The tip - you dine for breakfast in the palace but you can secure quaint and more adorable lodging in The Annex. Same view of the lake, same grandeur at breakfast just across the courtyard to sleep, still a lovely time!
