The vast and arid expanse that is the Great Rann of Kutch lies to the north of the Tropic of Cancer (you’ll pass through it and see the sign), at the top of the Kutch district. The northern boundary forms the border between India and Pakistan
The Great Rann is best approached via Bhuj, Dhordo, approximately an hour and a half north of Bhuj, is being developed by the Gujarat government as the Gateway to the Rann. Dhordo is on the edge of the salt desert.

hi @GNaz This Rann of Kutch Festival will start from Nov to Feb Every Year! you can enjoy Whire Desert During those time and also you can enjoy for extra activities like Rock Climbing, Rappelling wall, pendulum swing, zipline tower,para motoring, Rifle Shooting.
I visited every year for this rann of kutch festival its called" Rannostav" which organized by Government Of Gujarat" ( India ).

Hi @GNaz as i mentioned previous comment Here list of activities but all are paid like you have to pay extra money for those activities. (Rock Climbing, Rappelling wall, pendulum swing, zipline tower,para motoring, Rifle Shooting)
During this visit you can enjoy The Rann of Kutch is a salt marshy land in the Thar Desert in the Kutch district of western Gujarat. … The Rann of Kutch is famous for its white salty desert sand and is reputed to be the largest salt desert in the world.
