The Suntan beach is the fun seekers delight. If you are a beach lover you can get all the fun that you desire here. It is located within the Sakpo area of Badagry, Lagos.
It is a very neat beach with flat sand field around. There are lots of fun filled activities to engage in like taking a dive into the water, but there is a warning for everyone not to dare the sea. So you must dive with caution.
Other fun filled activities include walking along the lengthy sand field, sand bath but not on a sunny day to avoid sun burn. One can also build sand castles, or relax in one of the beach huts and watch the captivating sea wave and deafening roaring sound .
Fun seekers can also play beach soccer and volley ball or ride on horseback. There are lots of foods and drinks to try if you are a foodie. You can try the local barbecue called ‘suya’ together with coconut juice.
The Suntan beach is ideal for family and group picnics as well as for beach parties.
Are you are beach lover? What is the name of the beach you have visited? If you know any activity fun seekers can engage in while on the beach, please share it here.
@Ayoka nice to know to you have visited some of these beaches especially the kuramo beach which is a hub of fun. And am glad that the memories of the fun you had back then is still there.
Loving the photos @Onukakalu , thanks for sharing!
This place looks awesome, and the beach huts could easily become my second home for a week or two. This beach reminds me of an island off the coast of Egypt I once visited. The island is called Mahmya, and the beach there is my favorite so far.
How is the underwater scene there at Suntan beach? You mention that diving should be done with caution, but is it a good place to see colorful fish and coral?
Just to let you know, I have relabelled your post to Travel, as it fits better here.
@MortenSI thanks for relabelling the post to the right category. About suntan beach I am sure you will love it out there. Divers are cautioned because of the swift ocean current. Sure there are colorful fishes and coral but they are found a little farther from the shore.
