The most interesting thing I have done thus far using google guides was when I photographed The Fort Lauderdale History Center. It is a museum complex operated by the Fort Lauderdale Historical Society that is located in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The complex includes the 1905 New River Inn, a former hotel which now houses the main museum of local history. I had the absolute pleasure of exploring this beautiful area of Old Fort Lauderdale. As I walked through the building and property - I could hear something ancient whispering to my soul - saying h e l l o t h e r e. I love capturing that feeling with intense color and contrast and sharing it with the world. Does anyone else out there ever feel connected to old places or old things? How they can transport you? There are some images below taken by yours truly of The Fort Lauderdale History Center. ~Khye
