The first concert in Iran or the last cemetery

The garden, which has now become the tomb of prominent poets and figures such as Forough Farrokhzad, Qamar al-Muluk Waziri, Dariush Rafiei, Mohammad Taqi Bahar, Ruhollah Khaleghi, Abolhassan Saba and … was the venue for the first concert in Iran.

A rather mysterious place with tombstones, some of which have no names.

The rosary and the ax symbol of the Brotherhood’s association and the number 1317 which indicates the year of the founding of the said association, or in other words the word Ali in special alphabet(Abjad alphabet) is numbers 3 and 7 the most sacred name for those buried

You can visit this place only one day a week for a period of two hours and individually for men and women

Seems to me like an unusual place for a concert @Salarsaremi . What type of concert was it?

Classical Concert
Because this is more than a hundred years ago

Hello @Salarsaremi and @AdamGT

Good photos but I think there is a misunderstanding here!

This was an old cemetery in neighboring the Zahir Ol-Dowleh’s house. After he passed away and buried in that cemetery, the name of the cemetery changed to his name.

He has established the first Iran national orchestra, and the first concert in the form we know these days was held in his garden, not in the cemetery.

Also, we have older forms of concerts in Iran. For example, in Aliqapu many ensembles performed music and sang songs. Or even we had music performances in the Achaemenid era.
