Clock towers fascinate me a lot.
They have caught my attention when traveling in India and also in Europe.
In India, they are found adorning specially made towers aptly called the Ghanta Ghar meaning a Clock Tower.
In Europe, I found them atop almost every Church in the countryside.
Especially in Germany and Hungary where I traveled extensively, the clock tower is an integral part of the Church.
All clock towers in India and Europe are grand and sophisticated.
While walking on the streets of Tokyo I noticed at many places much smaller clock towers.
The clock tower in the photo below is simple, yet elegant and it seemed to be doing its work nicely.
I gazed at it for a while on a sunny morning, then continued walking.
