Hello, my name is Jhonatan and participate as a Local Guide Level 6, I from of Guatemala and I live in a coastal port called Champerico, in my community I was one of the people who started to implement photography combined with technology, I can say that I am one of the first youtubers who started in my small town, I am a computer teacher, graphic designer and I am about to finish my career in Systems Engineering.

Many people affirm that Guatemala is the country of eternal spring, this is because its name refers to its diversity of flora, It is believed that the name Guatemala originates from the Nahuatl Quauhtlemallan, which means place of many trees.
I love the culture of my country, its landscapes, its infrastructure and its people. Being a local guide for me is an opportunity to let the world know how beautiful my country is, I have fun taking pictures and sharing them with others, every time I know a new place to eat and I think it’s great I start thinking about that others do not have to miss those exquisite dishes that I am trying, when I visit a new place and see churches from the colonial era or simply see the culture of people in their daily lives I love the idea that through this technological tool the Others can see and feel what I am feeling and say within themselves, I want to know that place, anyway … as everyone in my country says, Guatemala is the country of eternal spring and I am proud to be Chapin.
