The Clock Tower outside the National Park in Mumbai

I saw this clock mounted on poles outside the national park in Mumbai.

I won’t call it a clock tower, nevertheless, it stands out there facing the rain, heat, and sound pollution of Mumbai all year round.

It is the 60s and 70s version of a smartwatch, minus the notifications.

Sitting elegantly in one of the hippest spots in town, the clock keeps telling the time 24x7 to this day whether someone needs it or not.
This is the most fascinating thing about any clock tower.

It keeps doing its job, just like me, passionately sharing knowledge and experience out here on Connect.

I will keep posting like the clock, consistently and persistently :blush:

  1. I will like to share this clock photo I took on my visit to the city of Vancouver Canada it’s called the steam clock located at 305 water St, Vancouver ,BC V6B 1B9

Gastown steam clock

Built in 1977 this well known antique style clock it’s powered by steam & whistles to tell the time caption picture of me beside the legendary clock juts the different I wasn’t still bleach back at 2019

I juts took it a straight picture from my cámara iPhone to my instagram post . I could see you love clocks and I think should be a great idea sharing this whit you , pic was took 2019 still brunette hair back then

Nice to see this post @TusharSuradkar . This clock is very old as per my knowledge. Recently they have renovated it. I admire your efforts to share the experience. Very nice and appreciated buddy. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you @TusharSuradkar ji, for sharing the nice photo of clock tower, near National Park in Mumbai, I think clock towers always make a place more beautiful and historic. I appreciate what your said ‘keep posting like the clock, consistently and persistently’ but I would like to say, your posts, like clock towers, always stand tall. :blush: .

@MauraDElSOl It’s very interesting know the clock tower, it’s powered by steam & whistles to tell the time. It’s beautiful. I am curious to know what was the necessity to use steam as power source in 1977, how does it now receive steam? Thank you for sharing.

I took that picture back in 2019 I actually detailed explaining was an old picture and I wanted to share the memory because I could see his passion for clocks. And for me was an an amazing experience felt like magic.

@PrasadVR das Video habe ich etwas unterhalb gefunden und es zeigt wie die Uhr um 12 Uhr durch den Dampf in Gang gesetzt wird, Musik macht.

Übrigens, auf Google Maps gibt es zur Uhr in Kanada auch jede Menge Informationen, Bilder und Videos auch mit Ton.

Man muss gar nicht so weit laufen :blush:
