It’s beautiful indeed…Hope to hear more story about this place @Dmitry_Kotov … Cheers from Jakarta

Great photo @Dmitry_Kotov but tell us more about it!

@indahnuria @AdamGT Indeed York is the most beautiful old city in the UK. I have been lived there for one year because I studied in a Masters program at the University of York. I live near the city wall and often walk around. This wall is unique because is one of the last almost fully saved city wall in Europe. Most of the city walls in Europe were destroyed several centuries ago but this was saved. Some fragments of the wall were built on even more ancient walls, made during the Roman Empire.

@AdamGT I’ve studied at Comparative and International Social Policy. Digital technology is my hobby because I’m an analyst and have some skills in data analysis, data mining, and so on.

Photography is my hobby also. I post a lot of pics on Facebook and Instagram usually. You can find pics here https://www.facebook.com/dmitry.kotov.50

Beautiful photo @Dmitry_Kotov

I could feel that the place could be a best choice to take a walk peacefully with the fresh air.

Is this place near to your campus? What a coincidence, my lecture is a PHD candidate in University of York

The campus. is placed оf the east part of York. The picture shows thу west part of the wall, the farthest part from the uni campus. Light walk to this part takes 1 hour from the campus but the nearest part of the wall begins much earlier. To reach the closest part of the wall takes 20 minutes from the campus. I lived exactly near the east part of this wall near the gate name Walmgate and every week walked on the top of this wall to a shop for some grocery.
