Today I proudly present you the beginning of “The Chao Praya River”. This is a landmark of my hometown. The Chao Phraya is known as the major river in Thailand and Bangkok. When people visit Bangkok, they’d love to do sightseeing cruises along Chao Praya River.
Before the river is called Chao Praya. There have 4 rivers from northand they flow to be 1 at my home town, NakhornSawan. Then it heads down to the south for 372 km. or 231 miles to Bangkok and the Gulf of Thailand.
Take a look at the picture “3.the beginning of The Chao Praya River”. You will see the red and green color coming together. The green side is from 2 rivers called “Ping” and “Wang”. rivers called “Yom” and “Nan”. 4 Rivers become 1 right here and it’s then called as Chao Praya, the major river of Thailand coming from.
