If you look at my contributions on Google Maps, you’ll probably see a little bit of everything. Warm sunsets, cozy streets, foamy cappuccinos and flowerbeds from local parks. I love experiencing the world around me, but even more than that I love being able to share it with others.
On the days that I’m not strolling along the streets with my camera though, you will most likely find me at home surrounded by piles of craft supplies. I love DIYing, and I’ll try pretty much anything I can put my hands on. I love knitting, crocheting, making jewelry and some home decor, a little bit of pattern painting and upcycling. I enjoy trying out different recipes and also trying to learn to sew. I spend hours watching DIY tutorials online, and then scavenging craft stores for all sorts of finds that I can use in my projects. I appreciate other people’s work, and I love going to craft markets and museums to get inspired by different techniques or just to stare.
Because of that, the one thing that I really care about sharing on Google Maps is anything and everything related to DIY. I love showing the selection of specialized arts and craft supplies from hobby stores, as well as ready products that serve as an inspiration for making something similar on your own instead of buying. I like sharing unique things I may come across at a museum, or a corky painting in a restaurant bathroom! Anything that spurs your imagination, I believe should be a part of Google Maps!
