Going into the Cathedral through the main gate and bypassing the cash register, on the left (not reaching the premises of the Orthodox Church) you will see a mysterious wooden door that leads up the spiral staircase as if from a fairy tale. Having risen, you will get to the Museum, which is located on 4 floors and conceals in its depths a lot of interesting things. On the first floor of the exhibition – the Museum of Kneiphof island. Here you can visit 2 halls, where you will see household items of ancient and not so residents of this area, armor, swords, keys to ancient castles, the layout of the pre-war island and much more. The exhibition is a must for all history lovers. Climbing higher, you will find yourself in the restored interior of the Wallenrod library. There is also an exhibition of coins, orders and many other interesting exhibits.

It housed the Wallenrod library, where the most valuable books and ancient manuscripts were kept. Next to the Cathedral was the building of the Prussian University of Albertine, where the philosopher Immanuel Kant worked. By the way, Kant was the last of the scientists of the University, who were laid to rest in the professors ' vault in the Cathedral. Today, the tomb of Immanuel Kant, being part of the Cathedral, is also a very popular place for tourists and visitors.

The bombing of the war did not spare not only the walls and interiors of the Cathedral, but also the instrument. But to restore the "soul" of the Cathedral involved some of the best masters of Europe and Russia, the construction and configuration of the body went on pre-war drawings, and it is safe to say that today's organ of the Cathedral – a new incarnation of the original. The organ is located in the heart of the Cathedral and a visit to the concert is a great option to combine relaxation and aesthetic, to see the interior of the building and listen to divine music.
