Well, this is correct literally and in every context possible. To begin, let me introduce you to the Most Pious of all Festival, that is being celebrated in Northern part of India…The CHAAT PUJA…
Celebrated and enjoyed among the Hindus, during the pious month of Kartik (During October -November), in Hindu (SANATAN DHARM) Calendar.
This is the festival where deities offers prayer to Lord Sun(SURAJ DEVTA). In Hindus , it is believed that The Sun is the most powerful God among the other Gods.
Also, we all worship Chaati Maiyya for giving her blessings to us. People offer Aarag(It’s a way to pour water and milk to sun) in evening followed by morning Aarag.
This is being celebrated for 4 days Starting with:
THE FIRST OF NAHAY KHAY.
2ND DAY OF KHARNA
3RD DAY OF PEHLE AARAG(IN EVENING)
4TH DAY OF DUSRI AARAG(IN MORNING) ALSO CALLED AS PARAN.
The prayer and the Puja must be done in River or Ponds as we have to stood during the sun down in the evening snd then before the sun comes in the morning…we have to stand in the water…it’s customary rituals in the Chaat Puja.
This is most awaited festivals in Hindus…coz this is one of the biggest festivals in India.
Women wears traditional clothing. The entire house is cleaned. The entire household items being cleaned. The road the surrounding all gets cleaned
Traditional music and chaat songs are played all over the place with happiness in the air
