I’ll share with you my experience in restaurants that serve Egyptian traditional food in Cairo with best value (taste and service vs cost)

  1. Sayed Hanafi specialized in Koshari which is a mix of rice, macaroni, lentil, little hommos and onion, covered with tomato sauce (can be hot)

I tried it in new Cairo, it was delicious and reasonable price

  1. Sobhey Kaber for grilled meat (kabab and kofta) and very rich Egyptian food menus with reasonable service and price
