I love to go to Hokkaido for their fresh and delicious seafood.
Last year Octobor, I went to Otaru(northwest of Sapporo) and found this restaurant on Google Maps.
Actucally this place is famous for sea urchin bowl but unfortunately, the season already passed so I chose the raw fish bowl instead.
P.s.: The best season of sea urchin is from June to August.
Although I wanted to eat the sea urchin bowl but this didn’t make me disappointed. This raw fish bowl was the best raw fish bowl I have never had in my life!!!
Reminder: Better go there by car, they have free parking space.
After the meal, you can go to some sightseeing spots like Cape Kamui for a walk!
Thank you for sharing these photos! I love sushi and sashimi too and uni is one of my favourites! It is very interesting that uni is in season from June to August in Japan because here in Canada, it is in season during the winter, usually around December to about March. But this bowl you shared with us definitely does not disappoint. I’m going to save your list of restaurants in Hokkaido as well. Not sure when I’ll visit, but I’m sure it’ll be useful one day!
